1. Who we are
TheWeal is an editorial publication operating at theweal.com. These terms apply to the website, the newsletter, and any embeddable widgets or APIs we provide.
2. What you can do with our content
2.1 Personal use
Read, share, save, and reference our articles freely for personal use.
2.2 Quoting
You may quote up to ~250 words from any TheWeal article in your own work, provided you (a) attribute the quote to TheWeal, (b) link back to the original article, and (c) do not change the meaning.
2.3 Embedding
You may embed any TheWeal coin-page widget on your own site, provided the embed retains attribution and a link back to the source coin page.
2.4 What you cannot do
- Republish entire articles on another site without written permission
- Use our content to train AI models without a separate commercial agreement (see /llms.txt for our position on AI training)
- Scrape the site at a rate that materially affects performance for other users
- Use our coin-page data to power a competing prediction service without licensing
- Remove or modify copyright notices, disclaimers, or attribution
3. User-generated content
TheWeal does not currently host comments or user-submitted content. If we add it in future, terms will be updated.
If you submit content (e.g. via the contact form), you grant TheWeal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and publish it for editorial purposes, while retaining your underlying copyright.
4. Accuracy and availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure our content is accurate at time of publication, but we provide it “as-is”. Specifically:
- Price data is provided by third-party feeds (CoinGecko) and may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable
- Predictions are model output and are not guarantees
- The site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or due to external factors
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access

6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheWeal is not liable for:
- Trading losses, missed opportunities, or other financial damages resulting from decisions made based on our content
- Errors or omissions in our content
- Loss of access to the site
- Actions taken by third parties based on our content
- Consequential, indirect, special, or punitive damages
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms is limited to the amount you have paid us (which, for free-tier users, is zero).
