Privacy: where your watchlist lives
The watchlist is stored entirely in your browser using localStorage. We do not send the list to TheWeal servers. We do not track which coins you watch. There is no account.
The trade-off: clearing your browser data or switching devices wipes the list. Use the Export button to copy a portable string, and Import to restore it elsewhere.
How to use a watchlist well
Keep it short. 5–10 coins max. Anything longer turns into noise.
Watch ≠ trade. A watchlist is a research queue, not a portfolio. Tracking a coin does not mean you own it.
Set thresholds in your head. "If BTC breaks below $X, I will review my thesis." Knowing your decision rules in advance saves you from panic decisions.
Review monthly, not hourly. Refreshing the page every five minutes is bad for your nervous system and your decisions.
