TheWeal is committed to factual accuracy and transparency. When errors appear in our reporting, we correct them promptly and visibly.

What we correct

We issue corrections for factual inaccuracies, misattributed quotes, incorrect figures, broken citations, and any framing that materially misleads readers about the substance of a story.

How to report an error

Email corrections@theweal.com with the article URL, the specific passage in question, and the correct information with a source. We respond within one business day and resolve substantiated corrections within 48 hours.

How corrections appear

Substantive corrections add a dated correction notice at the top of the article describing what changed and why. Minor typo fixes are made silently. Every substantive correction is logged in our public corrections archive.

For our broader newsroom standards, see our Editorial Standards.
