Trading restrictions
No author may buy or sell any token, NFT, or derivative tied to an asset they are covering editorially within 72 hours before and 72 hours after publication. Existing positions in any asset mentioned in a story must be disclosed in the article-level disclosure box.
Gifts, travel, and conferences
Free trips, conference passes, sponsored hotel stays, and gifts of more than nominal value are declined or, where attendance is editorially necessary, disclosed in the related coverage.
Payment for coverage
TheWeal does not accept payment, tokens, equity, or any other consideration in exchange for editorial coverage, placement, or favorable framing. Sponsored content is labeled and produced separately from the newsroom.
